The black plague.

I'm pretty sure our family has been hit with the plague. Not really the plague but it sure feels like it. I have had the most runny nose for like two weeks now, accompanied by body aches and tiredness this is a downright sucky combo. All I have wanted to do is sleep, sleep, and sleep some more. The worst part about it all is that no medicines have touched the symptoms. I have tried NyQuil, cold and cough medicine, good ole fashion Motrin, NOTHING works. So sleep and tea it is for me.

All last week poor Evee felt horrible. She stayed home from school one day and then I picked her up early on another day. She of course has the cough, body aches, and fatigue that go along with colds. We do what we can to try to keep her comfortable but the poor thing is miserable.

Poor Ronnie has missed an entire week of school because he cant stay awake for more than a few hours. He is the only one who has actually spiked a fever so luckily I could manage that with some Tylenol. His ears also have been plugged and hurting him so bad that I stayed home from work one night with him. Everyday he lays with me in the morning and falls back asleep and then gets up for a few hours and then comes right back in for another nap and sleeps through school. I haven't had the heart to send him when he feels so crummy.

Of course the plague skipped right over Ron. LUCKY! I swear his immune system must be bullet proof. Probably because he licked slugs or something has a child. He has just had to listen to me and the kids complain about our sickness. He has done such a great job taking care of all of us though, with as whiny as we are. Ill be glad when this finally leaves our house.
