Foodie post!

You do NOT have to sacrifice good food for healthy food! You heard me! You can eat all kinds of good food, great food, AMAZING food even!

One of my biggest struggles with working night shift is having the motivation to plan meals and then cook them, heck I even have a hard time remembering to pull the frozen stuff out of the freezer before I go to bed in the morning.

Food is such a huge part of weight loss it can not be ignored. If you do not change your eating habits the weight will not come off unless you are exercising 10 hours a day. Burning more calories than you consume is the key. The calorie count in healthy food is significantly lower than the junk food so you can actually eat a ton more healthy food. If you are eating healthy food there is no reason you should be hungry, ever.

Tonight I made bacon wrapped prawns, mushrooms, and some pineapple slices for dinner. I took left over steak, 1/4 cup of mixed unsalted nuts, carrots, a mini babybel cheese (light), an apple sauce, and a couple dried mango slices for my work dinner. I even skipped my Shakeology today because I wasn't hungry.

What is your favorite healthy recipe? What is your go to healthy meal? What is your easiest meal?

I am determined to plan ahead!! So dinner tonight will be pork chops, asparagus, and quinoa. Ron really likes asparagus and quinoa so it will be a hit with everyone. Now just to remember to take the pork out of the freezer!

Oh yeah and I've lost 1.6 pounds!! After two days of T25 and eating healthy.
