What a word! Kinda glad that isn't my job title! Today we went to see Dr. Abdullah, he is now known as "the belly doctor" at our house. We used to see him a lot when Ronnie was little and had really bad reflux but now since the reflux has resolved we only see him when I'm concerned about something. Lately I had been concerned about Ronnie's height to weight ratio because he is so skinny! We are in the 42% for height and 32% for weight, both of which are vast improvements from what we had been in the past. My concern was how Ronnie eats, or how little he actually eats. It never seems like its very much or even at all, which is concerning because "the belly doctor" had told me before that if kiddos are still experiencing reflux they might not eat because it still hurts and although because he isn't projectile vomiting doesn't mean that there isn't some reflux still going on. Dr. Abdullah must have though it wasn't necessarily reflux but something else so he sent us for so e blood work, a CBC, CMP, and a vit D level and, also prescribed a medication to boost his appetite because although Ronnie has not an ounce of fat on him, as the summer months come closer and he is more active he doesn't have anything to loose either. Cyproheptadine or periactin is what he prescribed for us to try. I think we might wait till Monday after speech school to start it. I want to talk to miss Brenda about it since she works with kiddos and feeding daily.
The second half of our day was spent gathering information on schools for Evelynne to attend kindergarden. I never knew that it would be such an overwhelming choice. Regular kindergarden, Montessori, Spanish immersion, STEM academy. What every happened to just going to school? Taking your folder, pack of stickers, and a box of Kleenex to the teacher on the first day and that's the start of school. I think that we are going to start with Montessori and if we don't get in (because there is a waiting list) our second choice is maybe the STEM academy, not dead set on that yet though. When Ron gets home from work tonight we will talk about it more and probably make a final choice then. Where did the last 5 years go?
My days off always end way to soon. I am excited for work tomorrow though! So I'm going to lay here watch some mindless tv and hopefully go to sleep early enough that I don't feel like a truck ran me over tomorrow. Oh and enjoy a blue moon.

YED
Today was our yearly education day in the ER. We learned a bunch of nonviolent techniques to deescalate potential harmful situations as well as some nonviolent ways to get out of controlling positions when a person has laid hands on you, other wise known as some nonviolent self defense techniques. I found it to be very informative as well as helpful in situations other than just at work. Then the second half was focused on pediatric emergencies, which I found very informative because sometimes emergencies involving children are not as clean cut as adult emergencies. Our guest speaker was a retired flight nurse and she was a plethora of valuable information. I had a great time at my first official ER training.
Tomorrow we are heading over to Mary Bridge to see our gastroenterologist and get a check up. I've been a tad concerned about Ronnie's weight and height and how much of a picky eater he really is. So I am consulting our GI for his opinion. Then after that appointment is......
THE KINDERGARDEN FAIR!!! Oh my gosh I can not believe that it is time to register our little girl for KINDERGARDEN! Where In the heck did the time go? So tomorrow we will go to the district building and check out all of the representatives from all of the schools, because there are four of them that we could easily send her to, and hopefully we will find the one that is the right fit for Evee and our family.

Two days off, two days sick, two days training, today!
I have now sat down to write this about 242,000,000 times! This past week has just been completely crazy at our house. To start off Ron and I were both off this past weekend and it did nothing but pour rain all weekend! So a couple shopping and redbox trips and we were all set up for a weekend of being shut in with two kids who were very excited to have mom and dad home for the weekend. Well things did not go so smoothly. Earlier in the week my green house blew over in some strong winds we had, the dang thing lasted all night and some of the morning through the wind and rain to blow over while Ron was watching it! Bye bye little, cute, organic seedlings I had been so proud of. I couldn't even look at it. The tipped over trays, the twisted up green house, it all just laid there, until I mustered up the strength to clean it up and put on my big girl panties and replant everything. I was very heart broken to have to clean up all these little sprouts that I had worked so hard to nurture. Well sadness over its time to buy some new seeds and get this planting on the way. On Saturday our shopping trip was for seeds and of course other random junk like always. Then Sunday we went out to get some organic potting solid and meet Scentsy Amy to so that she could get some Scentsy stuff from me. Sunday night after dinner the kids and I finally sat down at the table to replant all of my seedling trays, because of course, it was still ranting outside. I've found out that little fingers and little seeds sure don't mix very well. Ever would forget which hole she had already dropped seeds in so I'm sure that ill end up with a couple mixtures of plants in one container. But we got through it and I didn't cry over spilled seedlings!
Then the tornado hits, Monday morning about 06:30 I start feeling nauseous and not long later am I running to the bathroom. This lasts all day until about 15:30. I think I was awake a total of one hour the entire day of Monday it was horrible. I tried to take a shower and couldn't stand up I had to sit down and Ron came to help me wash my hair. It was horrible. Needless to say I called into work on Monday and I tried to stay home with the kids so Ron could go to work but that failed so I had to call him home from work to take care of the kids while I was to weak to even get up.
Then round two, Ron wakes up about 05:00 Tuesday morning throwing up! Toss away the thought of going to work Tuesday too! So now Ron, me and, both of the kids have been stuck in the house sick. That is Ron and I are sick the kids are their wonderful, cheery, spaztastic selves and being trapped in the house for four days with Ron and I is driving them and us bonkers! So Tuesday night we are feeling a bit better and decide to take the kiddos to chuck e cheese for dinner and to run off some steam. Well that must have worked because they slept until 10:45!!! Both of them!!! That was a blessing for Ron and I.
Wednesday was pretty uneventful for all of us more sleeping and resting and of course back to work. But that's ok because on Thursday I start in my new department!
On Thursday we joined the YMCA to go with our being healthier life style, and we are excited about it. Set an alarm, got up early, spent an hour at the gym, ran errands, got snack for Evee's class because it was her snack day, then got ready and went to work. My second day in the emergency department and it was great!! I actually came home Friday night and was tired, tired enough to actually lay in bed and fall asleep! It has been forever since that has happened.
Saturday and Sunday have been pretty uneventful and I'm ready to start our Monday with speech school.

A three day headache.
I have had some sort of headache since Wednesday night at work. Sometimes it will die down but then it's back raging full force, of course when I'm supposed to get up and actually be a real person for the day. We managed to go to Pizza Hut for lunch because Ron had wanted to go there for like a week now. But as soon as we got home I had to go back to bed for a hours because it hurt so bad and it sill does. I think I've taken at least one of everything to try to get it to go away!!!
Well an update on yesterday....operation bunk beds was successful yay!! And I did do a dye job on my hair and I also folded the laundry but I didn't get my hair cut or my eyebrows waxed or anything else done that I wanted to do! But the kids room is clean that's all that mattered. The rest of my house was a complete mess.
Oh then today just add on the good news my greenhouse tipped over with one big gust of wind!!! It lasted all night in the wind and rain but today one gust tips it over. So I was crazy sad about that and just left it on the ground because I was totally just going to cry after I had been growing those little seedlings for two weeks!! Now ill be so behind on planting it just irritates me!
It's not to bad here at work tonight and Jamie has been pushing my pressure points on my hands and that has helped my headache. I'm so glad to be off this weekend I really need some time off. Now to replant my dang green house!

Finally a day off!!!!
Man it really seems like it has been for ever since I had an entire day off. Really it was only 6 days ago. This week I worked 5 actual days in a row, a real week. It feels weird usually I'm on some 4 days on one off four on or some other weird schedule. 5 days in a row is a lot.
So today on the agenda is building the kids bunk beds that arrived yesterday and getting their room set up so hopefully while we are stuck in our little house the kids can have a little more space to play in their room.
Then some mommy repair will be happening today! An eyebrow wax, a haircut and a much needed dye job. That will be nice, leave me feeling like a whole person again. PLUS there is a new Grey's tonight! Even my day off is packed full of stuff to do. Oh yeah and I need to fold like 5 loads of laundry, but I can do that while I'm watching Grey's tonight.
Yesterday when we went to Costco to pick up a twin mattress for the bunk beds that they didn't end up having, we picked up an interesting book called foods that harm, foods that heal. Since we have been very into getting healthier lately and eating healthier we thought that this boom might help explain more about how to use food to be healthier. Remember you get skinny in the kitchen and fit at the gym. So I am hoping to get some time to look through this today too.
Now what to make for dinner.....

Work, work, work, and work some more!
Yeah I got to go home an hour early last night and I actually folded the laundry and put the dishes away! Wow go me right? We also caught up on being human and the walking dead then went to bed.
So at least I got some of the stuff on my list checked off before I had to be back at work by 12:30 for the dumbest meeting ever!! We sat in this meeting till 17:00 listening to stuff we already knew! So today ill be at work from 12:30-00:00 fun right? NOT! At least it's good money.
Better news is I have more seedlings on my starts!! Yay! Lettuce and broccoli have started to sprout. Ron's boss told him where we could get good soil too! So on the agenda for tomorrow is a siding and window consult for the house an maybe some cleaning out the flower beds around the house to hopefully plant some bushes and do some landscaping to try and be able to rent our house out.
I'm really looking forward to spending the day with the kiddos tomorrow an actual whole day before work! Then I'm off on Thursday, maybe, hopefully. I wouldn't mind starting my ER training Thursday either. The faster I can get out of transport the better!
I downloaded Instagram so that I could spice up some pictures to add and it's ok it's not as fancy as I thought it would be so maybe I'll see if there is a better app for editing quick iPhone/iPad pictures.....mycrazyhappylife on Instagram for now though.

Things to do.
So Ron and I have now both lost a good amount of weight me 40lbs and him 25lbs. The problem is that we both still feel really fatigued everyday. So we are going to try to hold each other accountable to getting up and doing some physical activity! So one of our things to do is exercise more!
I also need to figure out where to get a truckload of high quality soil so that I can fill our raised garden bed and let it start to get settled with the weather as my plants grow their little hearts out in the green house and wait to be transplanted.
There is so much that I need and want to do but working the schedule that we work its so hard to drag ourselves out of bed before 10am.....I need to fold the laundry, empty the dishwasher, vacuum, clean the kids room, clean the carpets! Spend more time with the kids, eat healthier, read to the kids, be a better parent, lover, girlfriend.
There is probably a million and a half other things I want/need to do but since I'm at work now ill just do what I always do and push it back to the back of my head and go on with my day.

Speech School.
Today is our first day of speech therapy! Out of the 34 short months Ronnie has been with us he has enlightened my life in so many ways. When I had him everything was supposed to be so perfect, so easy, in and out and then go home with my brand new baby. Well by far that isn't what happened. A trip to Mary Bridge, a 17 day stay, 5 days on ECMO, and ALOT of specialist appointments later brings us to today and speech therapy. Thank god that everything we have done up to this point has come back normal, but I feel like I am on pins and needles everyday that he will be behind or something will be wrong. So we started with a hearing test when I would get multiple huh? Responses from him in a day....have you ever tried to give a 2 year old a hearing test? Not very definitive at all. The audiologist suggested that maybe we try a speech evaluation, that was last week. It was a great evaluation, I really liked the pathologist, I think Ronnie did too. Her name is Brenda and she decided that speech therapy would benefit Ronnie.
So that brings us to today. Our first speech therapy session. We hyped it up and said we were going to speech school, Evee got excited for him and so then he was excited too. We put underwear on him went to the potty and we were ready to go. When we arrive at speech school (which is in the hospital building in silverdale) we were a little early so we stopped at the gift shop and checked out the toys and we found some skidders non slip socks for him to wear over his regular socks because he always takes his shoes off and is more comfortable that way. So they will be his speech school socks and will go in our speech school bag.
The gift shop is on the first floor and speech is on the second so we pushed the button and rode the elevator up, went to the potty and then came to meet miss Brenda. I do really like her.
Now I let him go back with her by himself, and I'm not to sure how I feel about it yet, but so far it's not bad, because, I really do like her. So Ronnie is at speech school and mommy is in the waiting room, waiting until 12:25 for miss Brenda to come out and talk to me about the session. Then off to meet daddy and Evee for lunch!
This is going to be a good thing for us!
